1. Housekeepers - $11.08/hr FILLED

Housekeeping Staff is responsible for ensuring that guests have a clean and pleasant environment during their stay. The candidate must work to clean various sections of the resort, including guest rooms, restrooms, lobby areas, and hallways. The candidate will provide clean linens for guest rooms and ensure assigned public areas are clean. The ideal candidate for this position is detail oriented, is able to work independently while meeting Forbes and AAA standards, and constantly striving to exceed guests expectations.

Essential Functions:

- Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards.

- Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.

- Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.

- Report any and all maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or maintenance as directed.

- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

- Clean and maintain public areas of the resort, including lobby areas and restrooms.

- Remove trash from common areas of the resort and empty ashtrays.

- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.

In addition to the assigned essential functions, the Housekeeping staff may be required to perform support functions within the Housekeeping Department at the discretion of the manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

- Must be flexible in scheduling, willing to work holidays and weekends.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

- Must be task and detail oriented, energetic, and able to follow specific direction and meet high physical demands.

- Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a team member.


2. Cooks - $13.50 FILLED

Cooks must provide the highest quality and quantity of assigned prep work, as well as properly organize and execute station assignment. The cook must maintain and order needed stores for station assignment. Candidates must have basic understanding of advanced scientific cooking techniques and have strong working knowledge of traditional methods. All of this must be carried out while following the necessary safety guidelines.

Essential Functions:       

- Improve and maintain all sanitation and organizational aspects in the kitchen

- Always maintain a positive attitude toward fellow associates, management, and ownership

- Responsible for assuring all projects issued by the Chef de Cuisine are completed in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

- Must be able to work as many as 50 hours per week when needed

- Must be able to speak English

Must possess a minimum of two years in food preparation position

- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to kitchen associates, dining room staff, and guests

Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, etc


3. Dining Room Attendants - $10.14/hr plus TIPS FILLED

The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for selling and serving food and drinks to resort guests in a professional manner. They must maintain comprehensive menu knowledge and excellent customer service skills. Additionally, Dining Room Attendants must have knowledge of the procedures involved to safely and responsibly serve alcohol to resort guests.

Essential Functions:

- Adhere to Resort safety practices and procedures

- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.

- Maintaining Food and Alcohol Knowledge

- Notify management of hazardous conditions

- Serving Food and Beverage

- Serving Alcohol safely and responsibly

- Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.

Utilizing appropriate verbiage in accordance with Forbes standards to communicate with guests.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Must be able to speak English

- Proper order taking

- General Resort Knowledge

- Must be of legal age according to State regulations to serve alcohol.

Knowledge of Forbes standards preferred.


4. Stewards - $11.18/hr FILLED

Stewards are responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware and serving dishes used in the preparation and serving of food.

Essential Functions:

- Required to safely operate dish machines, disposals and other kitchen equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and work

- Responsible for emptying garbage in all kitchens and the disposal of it into outside dumpsters.

- Sweeping and maintaining the cleanliness of the dumpster area is expected

- Clean and polish silver items on a regular basis according to department guidelines

- Ensure safe and proper storage of all such items listed above

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Report to work on time with a clean uniform, nametag, and maintain appearance according to Policies and Standards.

- Must be flexible in scheduling such as willing to work holidays, nights and weekends.

- Must be task and detail oriented, energetic, and able to follow specific direction and meet high physical demands.

- Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a team member.

- Anticipate needs of other departments and act on them.

- Be flexible to meet changing and/or multiple demands while staying calm under stress.

- Be friendly, eager to learn and understand the importance of doing a good job.



Housing provided by the employer is optional.  If the associate chooses not to utilize the housing units located on property, the associate may seek out their own housing options. It is important to note that transportation will not be provided to associates who live off-property. Associates who live off property will have to use Public Transportation at their own cost. Rent is $60 per week, paid every 2 weeks (deducted from check). There is a $200 (one-time /refundable) deposit required 45 days after arrival. Housing is furnished with couch, Tv, dining room furniture, bed, mattress, etc. Kitchen available with basic essential cooking appliances and utensils provided. Utilities are included in the cost of rent.
